The mission of the Hamilton County Department of Education’s Purchasing Department is to insure that all purchases are transpired in strict compliance with all applicable purchasing regulations governing the appropriate funding sources.
The primary objective of the Purchasing Department is to insure that the public’s monies are spent in purchasing goods and services in a manner which results in the School District receiving the best value at the lowest price. In order to achieve its primary objective the Purchasing Department conducts all of its bidding processes in a fair and equal manner which maximizes the number of companies in a fair and open competition.
