CSAS graduate Jayda Mitchell was asked by her mom, East Ridge High School's assistant principal, to bring a new mural to life inside the school.Jayda took a blank wall and told the school's story. It was a chance for her to share her talent and leave a piece of herself at her mom's school. 🎨
🏈 A special night under the Friday night lights at East Hamilton High School.During the halftime of the Hurricanes' season opener against Hixson High School, East Hamilton celebrated one of its own by retiring the jersey of former Hurricane and NFL defensive back Tre Herndon.Congratulations to Tre on an honor that will forever be part of East Hamilton history!

With this year’s theme, “Reach for the Stars,” we’re setting our sights high and looking forward to an incredible year of growth, teamwork, and success. 🚀✨Principals, Coordinators, and Community Specialists came together to connect, celebrate, and prepare for a successful Kids First Coupon Book campaign across our schools. Guests received valuable campaign training and orientation, including new strategies, helpful resources, incentives, and important updates to help make this year’s campaign the best yet.A huge thank you to everyone who joined and helped make the kickoff luncheon such a memorable event. 🌟💙

Recent Awards and Recognitions
Hamilton County Schools earned an NSPRA Award of Merit through the National School Public Relations Association’s (NSPRA) 2026 Publications and Digital Media Excellence Awards. The honor recognizes excellence in school communications and marketing and places HCS among education organizations from across the United States, Canada, and Department of Defense Education Activity schools worldwide.
