Kindergarten Registration

Start your child’s learning journey, kindergarten registration is now open for our newest little learners!

We are excited to welcome you and your new student to the Hamilton County School District. Below you will find enrollment dates and information that will help you navigate the online enrollment system for your kindergarten student.

For students enrolling in kindergarten, Board Policy 6.201 stipulates that the student must be 5 years old by August 15th of the current school year to be eligible for enrollment in a kindergarten program. If it is found that a student’s birthdate falls after this cutoff date, the student will be disenrolled immediately.

Kindergarten Registration Requirements:

2 (two) Proofs of Residence

Lease/Rental agreement/Mortgage.
Real estate tax receipt
Public assistance/government benefits

Parent/Guardian Driver’s License

or State Issued ID (preferred)

Most Recent Utility Bill

The bill must be within the last 30 days

TN Immunization Certificate

State-required immunization. This document must be up to date.

Birth Certificate

(Preferred)

Proof of physical

This document must be within the past 12 months on a TN medical form.

Social Security Card

(Preferred)
