Welcome to the Hamilton County Schools Family Connection Center (FCC). The Family Connection Center serves as a district connection point for HCS families. The FCC guides families in navigating district supports and resources and empowers families through strengthening family-school partnerships. The center operates as a hub of district information, resources, and services, centralizing families’ multiple touchpoints with the school district throughout their child’s educational journey.

EdConnect Support
Would your students benefit from having EPB WIFI in your home at no-cost to you or your family? HCS is proud to be partnering with EPB to provide high-speed internet at no-cost to over 28,000 income-eligible students in the district. Even if you already have WIFI in your home or on your personal cell phone, you could still be eligible for HCS EdConnect. If you have questions about the program, CLICK HERE for more information. Community Support
United Way’s 2-1-1 is a free and confidential service helping people across the Tennessee Valley find the local resources they need when they need them. One call to 2-1-1 connects you to someone who can help you navigate the maze of human services to get you to the help you need. 2-1-1 offers information about food, housing, employment, transportation, health services, eldercare, and other crisis hotlines. Our trained information and referral specialists can help you find resources for all of these needs and more.

Need counseling services for your student? Please connect with your School Social Worker or School Counselor.
If you are in need of immediate services for yourself or a member of your family who is in a mental health crisis, please contact TN Statewide Crisis Line at 855-CRISIS-1 or 855-274-7471 for a confidential person to speak with. Office of Family Empowerment
The Office of Family Empowerment offers family support programs as well as the LIHEAP program. The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is an energy assistance program which provides support for income-eligible families to help them in managing rising home energy costs.

Money School
The Money School is a financial literacy program that covers a variety of topics to build financial consciousness and stability within the community. Every April during Financial Literacy Month, The Chattanooga Neighborhood Enterprise (CNE) provides a full day of course by financial professionals, which are open to the public at no cost.
